The Michigan Safety Conference  is a volunteer organization dedicated to promoting the improvement of workplace safety and health practices in the State of Michigan. The Michigan Safety Conference exists to provide education, and to create a community of experts, to help eliminate workplace injuries and fatalities.

The Midwest Gang Investigators Association (MGIA) is an organization representing 12 states throughout the Midwest with over 2,000 members.  MGIA provides a collaborative association whose mission is in developing and recommending strategies to prevent and control gang crime, administer professional training, and assist criminal justice professionals regarding gangs in their communities.
