Box Office Services

Through our partnership with etix, the largest independent ticketing company in North America, we are able to offer secure web-based and box office ticketing solutions to all planners hosting ticketed events.

Box Office Services and Facility Fees

Tickets Sold 500 and Under

There is a $200.00 Box Office service fee per day for a public event that has sales/comp of 500 tickets or less. Plus, there is a $2.00 facility fee per ticket for any ticket price more than $5.00 for entry. This fee includes basic ticket set-up and ticketing equipment.

Tickets Sold 500 and Above

For a public event with ticket sales of more than 500 sales/comp tickets, a $2.00 facility fee will be assessed per ticket. This fee includes basic ticket set-up and ticketing equipment.

Exceptional Ticket Service Set-Up Fee

A fee of $50.00 may apply for each additional request above the basic set-up charges per item including, but not limited to:

  • Promotional Codes
  • Pricing Changes
  • Set-up for additional sales reports

Etix and Printing Fees

In addition to the Etix handling fees, there is a 3% processing fee for online transactions through Etix. There is a .50 cent per ticket printing fee for comp tickets. Additional facility fees may apply based on the conditions of the event. Please contact our Event and Box Office Coordinator for a breakdown of fees that may apply to your event.

The Lansing Center Box Office terms are subject to change due to the nature of the event.

On-Site Ticket Sales

We are pleased to have Etix.com as our ticketing provider. This electronic ticketing solution includes web-based ticket sales for your guests, either on-line with print-at-home tickets or thru the Etix.com Call Center. On the day of your event, tickets can be purchased on-site at the Lansing Center Box Office. All tickets are bar-coded and scanned, providing controlled access to your event.

Online Ticket Sales

Convenience Fees are charged to the guest when they purchase tickets on-line through Etix.com. Per-ticket fees are based upon the ticket price and there is no additional Order Fee for print-at-home tickets. Credit card fees of 3% are included and the Convenience Fee varies.

Call Center Ticket Sales

Convenience Fees are charged to the guest when they purchase tickets through the Etix.com Call Center. Per-ticket fees are based upon the ticket price and there is an additional Order Fee of $4.50 to have hard tickets mailed to the Guest. Credit card fees of 3% are included in the Convenience Fee.

Complimentary Tickets

The Lansing Center will retain, or be provided, building comps (10 comp tickets per contract). Each client will receive 10 comp tickets complimentary. Printing fees of any additional in-house complimentary tickets will be billed to the client.

Ticket Sales Outlet

Etix.com consignment arrangements can be made for smaller outlet advance ticket sales.

Crowd Control/Event Staff

In order to provide ticket scanning services and safety for your public event, Crowd Control functions will be staffed by the Lansing Center Ticket Sellers, Ticket Takers, Door Guards, Ushers and Crowd Control Supervisor, schedule to be determined by Event Staff Supervisor and/or Event Coordinator. All staffing requires four hour minimum per staff member. Crowd control/event staffing labor rates are subject to change.

Ticket Seller / Ticket Taker / Door Guard / Usher $17.00 per hour
Crowd Control Supervisor $19.00 per hour

Client Credentials

Credentials identifying Client’s staff, exhibitors, etc. will be the responsibility of the Client, with samples to be provided to the Lansing Center Event Staff.
